Good was amazing! Came back for dessert only to see cockroaches crawling around power plug unit near the food preparation area
Delicious breakfast and great service! We especially liked being able to watch the crepes being made from our seats.
Superb and super fresh crepes along with a greatly expanded menu. One of the best restaurants in Hilo.
Food and service was good if a tad slow. A special order meal request (mushrooms on the side) was not properly delivered.
I love the eggs Benedict for breakfast and the pasta for dinner is always fresh and delicious. It is a small restaurant with a small staff so sometimes there is a wait for your food to come out. BUT, it’s worth the wait. Unique sauces and wonderful salads. I usually don’t like live music indoors but the musician place soft, mellow music which inhances the ambience. love this place! Give it a try if you are looking for something different and off the beaten path. They are more than just crepes.
Great local truly Hilo kine place. Service can be slow so order something right away when you sit down. Enjoy and be patient. If you are in a hurry come at another time. Enjoyable music and the food has always been good
Good crepes, not the best I’ve had but better than going to a place like ihop for crepes. Weird vibe inside, no customers just maybe the owners, their friend and the two person staff - something odd was going on with some guy coming in and out several times (seemed like a personal issue), made me a bit anxious but we were kindly attended to and the food was good.
Food was good. Fresh pasta was well prepared. Service was slow and parts or our order was missed.
Slow and laid back vibe witin a beautiful building. We had the eggs Benedict crepe which was just the right amount of tart and rich. Crepes kind of have the texture closer to tortillas than omelette. No straws in the water, a good touch.
Beautiful little French restaurant. Authentic crepes. Something on the menu for everybody. Modern deco. Great price. Small place, small staff, service can be slow when full, but very personable.
Excellent food and ambience. Has a selection of fresh pasta, crepes (savory and sweet), 'crepe pizza', and a few other items. Very fresh tasting. Highly recommend the ravioli appetizer. Several vegetarian options and at least one listed vegan option.
Great food and dessert. Nice waiters but really slow service. I would still recommend it though.
Best place ever! Great service awesome food!
The pasta was good because it was pasta. The crepes for desert.
Great soup and crepes! Ate here twice this week - lunch yesterday, dinner today. Not fast food - great food worth the wait. Outstanding live music at dinner to top it all off!
A low key environment in a laid back town in the tropics. Fresh hearty crepes and pasta. When only a real crepe will do, they can't be beat!
Very good crepes. Pasta dishes look somewhat lacking but are really delicious. Friendly and pleasant servers
Great food and great live jazz at night on weekends
Oh my good lord. I ordered a Greek salad and received 7 inch strands of lettuce with black olives on top. It's okay though because the dressing was olive oil. Just olive oil. The menu mentioned that it came with kalamata olives so I asked for them and they brought me martini olives. It's okay though because my friend ordered a veggie crepe. It was canned mushrooms and melted "cheese" inside a soggy flour tortilla. Please don't go here and please don't believe the five star reviews.
Best crepes on the planet. Enjoying their amazing crepes every time going to Hilo! Soooo good!!!
I've spent time in France, and this place reminds me of France. I would like it for that reason alone, but another reason is the buckwheat crepes. I eat gluten free so this is very handy. Freshly prepared food and always delicious. And quiet enough to hold a conversation.
Comfortable place. Really friendly staff. Bonus! Gluten free crepe made with garbanzo flour and it was delicious!
Happened to choose this place since it offered buckwheat for those of us with gluten allergies, ended up spending nearly two hours relaxing and enjoying the ambiance and live music. Service was slow, but cordial and helpful with questions. As a small place with only three total people, the wait for the food was worth it. Our party had the polish, Spanish flamenco, Russian beef stroganoff crepes, along with fresh made tagliatelle pasta dishes. All were very good.
5he best Eggs Benedict fo7nd yet. The ham is particularly shaved (my favorite) and the young lady providing the best service around get my appreciation and gratitude.
The food was delicious and the helpings generous. We had the homemade pasta - yummy! The crepes were very good as well as one person in our party had a crepe and we shared a dessert crepe. Lovely atmosphere with mellow live music. A great setting, ambience, service, and food.
Loved this place. Ate there twice during our Hilo stay. Great food, the fresh pasta with pesto is amazing. Agree, service was a little slower when it was busy but for a single chef and server they did an amazing job. Live music with dinner was a nice touch as well. Highly recommend!
Great crepes and a small but phenomenal wine list.
Crepes were fantastic, the staff took us because every other restaurant was closed in town. They even treated us to dessert crepes after hours. Good service, great good!
Cute little place discovered by accident. Nice selection of savory or sweet crepes and free live entertainment by local artisans working for tips. Our first gem of Hilo.
Delicious crepes best that I've eaten !cooked to perfection ,nice atmosphere. Me and my husband spoke to the chef and he was delightfull to speak to,so was the waitress. We are definitely going to become regulars there we want to try everything on the menu out !🤗
Great place for crepes to share. Savory and sweet tooth are satisfied by their selection. Small place with indoor seating. Great place to get out of the liquid sunshine.
Went here for breakfast on a Saturday morning. There was charming live music in the back and the server and chef were welcoming and attentive. I was so happy to see a vegan AND gluten free crepe on the menu. I got the garbanzo flour vegan crepe and it was so delicious!!!
Fresh ingredients and friendly service. The crepe pizzas are large enough to feed two to three people. The dessert crepes are delicious!
“WORST” experience EVER!!! Waited hour 20 minutes for food to come out with only 2 other tables so wasn’t even busy. Also waited for the owner/ Manager / server... to try an charge my card after waiting 10min she charged 427$ to my account told me she didn’t know how to run the machine witch I could not believe... Save yourself a ton of time an hassle go anywhere but this place an the crepes were awful an so was the so called home made pasta an French soup I could make you a way better meal save you ton of time an money!! An yes they still charged me after all that unreal. There best owner guy Cook was there as well FYI
Volcano crepe best crepe ever! Sure, the service here could use some work: only one cook, on a Friday night, took 20+ minutes to get one crepe, but it was worth it! Besides nothing moves fast in Hilo, or Hawaii for that matter, so I've heard (and seen).
Fresh pasta. I got the pesto and they did not mess around with the garlic, which I appreciate. Large portions. Crepe was very good but nothing spectacular.
Really good value for the price. We got a half crepe and salad and it was more than we could finish. The space is very relaxing and lovely, but if there are a lot of people there service could be slow.
Live music was very good☺️Waitress give us good instructions what to see in the island. Home made pasta was very good☺️
A hidden treasure in downtown hilo. Friendly staff and charming decor. Best brunch option in town. Mimosas, French crepes and escargot. I wish I took more pictures.
I ask for crepes Benedict with out the ham. It tasted awful. I didn't want to send it back and be rude. I cut it up and made sure there was no ham, but it was so disgusting. I can't think of this place without that filthy taste coming back. I talked to a friend of mine later about it, and they suggested that they put the ham on it, and then took it off. So my food was tainted with the flavor even though it did not have it. That's very unhygienic. So beware if you go. Clearly, they are no sensitive to people's needs.
There is delicious food here, calming live music, and friendly and efficient staff! I love that it offers gluten-and-dairy-free crepes, especially since I'm gluten and lactose intolerant. That's what hooked me, and the rest is history!
Great selection and pleasant staff. I like that there was a lot of variety, you can choose between savoury or sweet crepes or even a traditional American breakfast. Excellent atmosphere and good location, close to a small parking lot. The prices were a little expensive considering the size and that you only get one crepe but it was very good regardless.
Just went for dessert. So so yummy. The volcano was huge and chocolatey. Nice live of Hawaiian music to.
Though I can only speak about the Crepes they were delicious. The atmosphere was nice service was great and I would assume the other food is also delicious if it is as good as a crepes.
The place is pretty nice but the food was just meh. I had the Parisian crepe and it was okay but seemed a bit underdone. Honestly the best part of having lunch there was the musician doing popular tunes in a Hawaiian style.
I'd love to get give this more stars because the atmosphere is beautiful, the drinks were delicious, and the Savory Crepes were out of this world amazing! However, if I have to be honest, I have to admit that the desert crepes were very heavy, most particularly there was a mixture of flavors in the unwhipped cream cheese filling. It seems that they used the same knife for the Savory feeling as the sweet, so that a delicious orange and walnut flavored desert crepe had a heavy, sour garlic after taste. I highly recommend the Savory options and the delicious cocktails. The dessert Crepes do need some help though.
Come here if you have time. Food comes out slow because it's one person making everything fresh.Very delicious and worth the wait...
Lazy, Parisian popular café in the best way, fair though just raised prices with the printing costs of the new menu, enjoy French accordion music piped in the otherwise quiet background, Great coffee, I get the Croissant sandwich, pleasant ambiance, hit n miss on Weekends with rotating wait help, crepes, desserts, drinks..full bar of wine, champagne, aperitifs... Gabrial is very helpful ..back again.. For more inconsistent Sunday food n coffee service..no one here but cook waitress boss 1 floutest and his prodigy...sounds GREAT.. tastes great...nice waitress...
Ample parking, one block from the bay. Nice seating area with some outside. Good food with normal prices. This is not a fast food place but rather having a good time.
I've been on the Big Island for almost a week and by far this is hands down the best place to eat. Not only is the decor quaint but it makes you feel like you are in Paris. We ordered a couple of dinner crepes along with deserts and it was amazing! Be sure to bring a wheel barrow because you will need it! They start you off with some amazing bread and the dinner portions are huge! Great decor, great staff, and AMAZING food!
